Gentis Solutions is looking for a Quality Assurance Tech to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.

Compensation for this position ranges from 62k/year - 78k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position requires the individual to be located in the North Reading, MA area.

Must Have

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent hands-on experience
0–2 years of experience in hardware testing or related field
Basic Linux/Unix experience (SSH, logs, scripts, device access)
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
Experience assembling electromechanical fixtures and hardware
Experience with soldering, cable assembly, and system bring-up
Experience using electrical test equipment (e.g., multimeters)
Ability to execute test procedures and collect data
Experience troubleshooting electronic or hardware systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Plusses

Experience working in hardware test or lab environments
Exposure to robotics or electromechanical systems
