Gentis Solutions is looking for a Public Relations Specialist to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.
Compensation for this position ranges from 104k/year - 112k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Seattle, WA area.
Must Have:
- 5+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong media relations skills with a track record of securing positive coverage
- Experience working with reporters/editors
- Proven experience writing press releases/blog or social media posts
- Familiar owning PR announcements (ie: client is going to announce new product, thought about strategy of how/ when/ messaging)
- Proficient in MSFT Office, outlook, and word
Plusses:
- Experience in the consumer electronics or streaming media industry
- Ability to translate complex technical features into compelling customer stories
